Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Banquet Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional banquet and catering experiences. This energetic role requires a passionate culinary professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and is dedicated to creating memorable dining moments for our guests. As a key leader in our food service operation, you will oversee all aspects of banquet food preparation, kitchen management, and team supervision, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation are met consistently. Duties Lead and supervise the banquet kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and timely service for all events Plan, develop, and execute banquet menus that align with guest expectations and event requirements Oversee food handling, preparation, and presentation to uphold strict food safety and sanitation standards Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste Coordinate with event planners and service staff to ensure seamless execution of catering functions Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health regulations at all times Train and mentor team members on culinary techniques, safety procedures, and service standards to foster a motivated work environment Experience Proven banquet experience in a high-volume or fine dining setting with a strong background in catering or large-scale food production Supervising experience managing culinary teams in fast-paced environments Extensive knowledge of dietary requirements, food safety protocols, and inventory management practices Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff effectively Strong background in food preparation, menu planning, kitchen management, and food service operations Experience with restaurant or hospitality management systems is preferred Culinary certification or relevant training from accredited culinary institutions is advantageous Join us as a Banquet Chef where your culinary talents will elevate our events while providing an inspiring environment for your professional growth.
