Banquet Manager (Full-Time) Company: The 1916 Room at Little Horse Tavern Location: 7403 Lansdowne Ave Phila, PA 19151 Department: Banquets / Food & Beverage Reports To: Director of Banquets & Director of Food & Beverage Experience Required: Minimum 2 years Job Details The 1916 Room at Little Horse Tavern is seeking an experienced and dedicated Banquet Manager to join our team. This full-time role is responsible for showcasing our event spaces, planning all banquet functions, and flawlessly executing events from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, guest‑focused, and skilled at coordinating between departments to ensure seamless communication and exceptional event experiences. Responsibilities Conduct site tours and confidently showcase The 1916 Room’s event spaces to potential clients. Plan and coordinate all event details, including developing accurate BEOs and supporting documentation. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the planning and execution phases. Lead the execution of all banquet events, overseeing setup, service, timing, and breakdown. Supervise, motivate, and support banquet staff during all functions. Collaborate closely with the Director of Banquets and the Director of Food & Beverage to ensure consistency and smooth event operations. Communicate effectively with culinary, service, and operations teams regarding event needs and expectations. Maintain banquet equipment and ensure event spaces meet company standards. Quickly and professionally resolve issues during events to ensure guest satisfaction. Ensure compliance with safety policies and operational procedures. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in banquet management, event planning, or hospitality leadership. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and a service-driven mindset. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules. Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
