Banquet Server

Job Overview A very nice and welcoming wedding and events facility located in Forest Hill CA, just twenty minutes from Auburn, CA is seeking some extra help for the year. The job is part-time. Hours are usually Friday, Saturday & Sunday, from 3 PM to 11 PM depending on events scheduled. This position is great for high school, college students, or for any person just looking to make some extra cash on the weekends. Your Job duties will range from but are not limited to trash, stacking, and setting up chairs. Helping out in the kitchen, Serving, Setting up and breaking down, and cleaning after each event. Helping and assisting the event coordinator. Some bartending as well as a few extras that will be asked of. Our position for banquet server pays hourly. Wage is confirmed depending on your experience and the business does not include tips, but if tips are given to you, keep them. Duties Serve food and beverages efficiently, accurately, and with a positive attitude, ensuring guest satisfaction Set up banquet tables with linens, silverware, glassware, and centerpieces to create visually appealing settings Clear tables promptly and professionally, bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness throughout service Assist with food preparation and catering setup as needed to support smooth event execution Monitor guest needs during events, respond promptly to requests, and provide exceptional customer service Follow all food safety and handling procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards Requirements Some experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is highly preferred Knowledge of culinary practices, food handling, and food safety regulations Strong guest services skills with the ability to build positive guest relations Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with diverse guests We value energetic individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to deliver memorable experiences.
