Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Barback/Bar Apprentice, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create an exceptional experience for our guests. In this role, you will support bartenders by maintaining a clean and organized bar area, assisting with food and beverage prep, and ensuring smooth operations during busy nights. Duties Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages to ensure the bar is fully prepared for service Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning spills, washing glassware, and organizing supplies Support food preparation tasks such as slicing fruit or assembling simple bar snacks in accordance with health standards Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar and dining areas efficiently Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately when needed Help with setup and breakdown of events such as banquets or catering functions within the venue Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations across all duties Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience working in nightclubs, banquet settings, catering events, or hotel food service enhances your suitability for this role Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential Knowledge of cleaning protocols, food handling safety standards, and basic kitchen operations will support your success in this position This role is perfect for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in the food industry while contributing to a vibrant nightlife or hospitality environment.
