Job Summary The purpose of the Barback is to support the bartending team by ensuring they have the supplies, equipment, and clean work areas necessary to deliver an exceptional guest experience and maintain efficient, smooth bar operations. Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions Greet and acknowledge guests while performing barback duties Keep ice wells filled and ensure ice is replenished as needed Stock and restock beer, liquor, wine, and other beverages as needed Maintain a fully supply of cups, glassware, napkins, straws, garnishes, and other bar essentials Retrieve requested items from storerooms and verify accuracy Cut, slice, and prep fruits, garnishes, and juices in sufficient quantities Properly store all perishable items in designated refrigerated containers Support bartenders by monitoring supply levels and replenishing items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, back bar, storage areas, refrigerators, and beer lockers, Dispose of trash, replace lines, and keep waste areas tidy Handle empty bottles, boxes, and recyclables by organizing and storing according to Standard Operating Procedures Assist with beer keg transport, replacement of taps, and routine maintenance as needed All other duties as assigned Education and Experience Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs Ability to read write and speak, and communicate in basic English preferred Food Handling Certification (may obtain upon hire) Alcohol Awareness Certification (may obtain upon hire) Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Detail oriented and thorough Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards Ability to remain discreet and re
