Duties Perform professional hair styling, coloring using color theory principles, and hair extension applications including tape-in, clip-in, and keratin bonds. Deliver expert eyelash extensions, eyebrow threading, and makeup services to enhance clients’ natural beauty. Maintain salon sanitation standards by cleaning tools, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring a safe environment for clients and staff. Operate salon software systems such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process payments efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting clients at the front desk, answering inquiries, and offering personalized recommendations. Upsell retail products such as hair care items, nail care products, and styling tools to boost sales while meeting client needs. Mentor junior team members on techniques like straight razor shaves, hair coloring, and retail sales strategies to foster a collaborative team environment. Qualifications Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and hair extensions. Proficiency in salon software systems like MINDBODY or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of color theory, sanitation practices, and hair care techniques including nail care and makeup application. Experience with retail sales, upselling techniques, and retail math to meet sales goals. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and team members. Ability to perform detailed services such as eyelash extensions and hair threading with precision. Demonstrated store management skills or experience in supervising salon operations is a plus.
