Duties Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and applying hair extensions with precision and artistry Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions efficiently Provide expert advice on color theory to help clients choose the perfect shades and styles that complement their features Execute specialized treatments like eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools such as straight razors and ensuring a clean work environment Manage retail sales by upselling hair products, retail math calculations, and promoting additional services to maximize revenue Mentor junior team members in hair styling techniques, customer service excellence, and salon procedures to foster a collaborative team environment Handle front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, managing appointments, answering inquiries, and ensuring smooth daily operations Requirements Proven experience in cosmetology or barbering with expertise in hair styling, coloring, and extensions Strong knowledge of salon software systems like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management Skilled in applying various beauty treatments including eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and hair threading Excellent communication skills to connect with clients effectively and provide personalized recommendations Deep understanding of sanitation protocols for tools such as straight razors and overall salon hygiene standards Ability to perform retail sales through upselling techniques while maintaining excellent customer service Store management experience is a plus for overseeing daily operations and team coordination Certification in cosmetology or barbering as required by state licensing laws Passion for continuous learning about new trends in hair styling, color theory, and beauty treatments Join us as a where your talent meets opportunity!
