Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Barber / Manager to lead our team with enthusiasm and expertise. There is a choice of flat fee chair rental or high percentage split, not your tipcal 60/40. We believe this Barber-favorable split will be the success of our salon. Making well compensated Barberswill ensure exceptional customer experiences, maintain high standards of service, and foster a positive, motivating environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for beauty services, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence. As a Barber / Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our salon, inspiring your team to deliver outstanding results while managing daily operations with confidence and clarity. Duties Oversee daily salon operations, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional client service Lead, mentor, and motivate staff members to achieve their best performance in hair styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and other beauty services Manage appointment scheduling using salon software such as MINDBODY to optimize client flow and maximize retail sales opportunities Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety protocols in accordance with industry regulations and best practices Conduct staff training on new techniques like color theory, straight razor shaving, hair threading, and retail product upselling Handle front desk responsibilities including client check-in/out, answering inquiries, and managing retail inventory with retail math skills Foster a welcoming environment by delivering outstanding customer service and resolving client concerns promptly and professionally Skills Extensive knowledge of hair extensions, hair styling techniques, and color theory to deliver customized looks Proficiency with salon management software such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client management Strong understanding of sanitation standards within cosmetology and barbering practices Excellent communication skills to effectively mentor staff and connect with clients Ability to upsell retail products confidently while providing expert advice on hair care, nail care, makeup, and eyelash extensions Store management experience including inventory control, retail sales strategies, and front desk operations Skilled in mentoring team members in advanced techniques like straight razor shaves, hair threading, eyelash extensions, and nail care Knowledge of retail math for accurate sales tracking and goal achievement Join us to lead a vibrant team dedicated to transforming beauty experiences!
