Beans and Berries is seeking a passionate and friendly Barista to join our team! About us: We are a coffee shop dedicated to providing high-quality coffee and beverages, delicious crepes, and exceptional customer service. We pride ourselves on our welcoming atmosphere and our commitment to creating memorable experiences for our guests. What you'll do: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee drinks, smoothies, and other menu items. Provide excellent customer service, taking orders accurately and handling payments. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including brewing equipment and customer areas. Educate customers about our menu and make recommendations based on their preferences. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service. Restock supplies and assist with inventory management. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following all health and safety guidelines. What we're looking for: Previous experience as a barista (preferred, but not required). Strong customer service and communication skills. Knowledge of coffee and tea, including brewing methods (or a willingness to learn). Would prefer you to have knowledge how to work a commercial espresso machine. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. A passion for coffee and a positive, friendly attitude.
