We are seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Barista to join our team in McFarland, CA.Our coffee shop operates within a gas station environment, serving a steady flow of customers throughout the day.This position is responsible for delivering high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting.The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to creating a positive customer experience while upholding operational standards and product consistency.Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, teas, energy drinks, and other menu items according to company recipes and quality standards Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests professionally, taking orders accurately, and addressing customer needs in a timely manner Operate the point-of-sale system and handle cash and card transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of all front-of-house and back-of-house areas, including counters, equipment, prep stations, and service areas Restock inventory, supplies, and ingredients as needed throughout the shift Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines to ensure compliance with company and local standards Support opening and closing procedures, including cleaning, stocking, and equipment preparation Monitor product levels and communicate inventory needs to management Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service during peak business hours Represent the business in a professional manner and contribute to a welcoming, service-driven environment Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality Basic cash handling and point-of-sale experience preferred Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Willingness to learn company procedures, recipes, and operational standards Preferred Characteristics Professional and positive attitude Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure Commitment to quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed Schedule Requirements Flexible availability preferred Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require Work Environment This position is based in a coffee shop located inside a gas station.Team members should be comfortable working in a high-traffic environment and maintaining strong service standards throughout the day.Pay:$17.00 - $17.25 per hour Work Location:In person.
