Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting café environment. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our customers while showcasing your skills in food preparation and cash handling. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions accurately, and maintain proper cash handling procedures. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, take orders, and recommend menu items based on preferences. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including tables, counters, equipment, and utensils to ensure compliance with food safety standards. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours while managing time effectively. Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing and sales tracking. Experience Previous experience in a café or retail environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales reporting is beneficial. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is a plus. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills related to beverage preparation and customer service.
