Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items following established recipes and food safety standards. Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with accuracy and integrity. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas. Manage food handling responsibilities, ensuring proper food safety practices are followed at all times. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness. Provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers about menu options, promoting sales and enhancing customer satisfaction. Skills Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee-making skills and knowledge of café operations. Previous cashiering experience using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm.
