Kyoko Coffee is a Japanese-inspired specialty coffee & matcha concept, and we re looking for a barista who genuinely cares about creating an exceptional guest experience from start to finish. We're looking for someone who is warm, attentive, fast, detail-oriented, and takes real pride in making every customer feel welcomed, taken care of, and excited to come back. Requirements 2-5 years of barista experience. Strong espresso, matcha and milk skills (this means different things to different people - we can discuss) Ability to multi-task: Holding engaging conversations while taking payments, making drinks and keeping the line moving are a daily necessity. Excellent customer service skills genuine, upbeat, attentive, and professional. We continually work to do our very best to educate and serve everyone. ( Looking for chill but no third-wave coffee bullshit attitude - we serve the best coffee & matcha with ZERO attitude and look forward to educating our customers.). Strong communication and teamwork. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Bonus Points Japanese language ability or an active interest in learning Japanese. 15/hr + tips!
