Barista/Playground Attendant

Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Playground Attendant/Barista to join our team. As a playground attendant, you will be responsible for creating a fun and safe environment for children and their families while assisting with various tasks related to the operation of our play center. As a barista, you will be responsible for making drinks, preparing food, doing inventory, and other related tasks. Responsibilities Prepare and serve food and beverages, including coffee, while maintaining cleanliness in the food preparation area. Greet and assist guests as they enter the cafe/playground, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Monitor play areas to ensure safety and adherence to rules, assisting as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register and POS system. Assist with sales of merchandise and snacks, utilizing retail math skills for accurate pricing. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the play center, including restrooms and dining areas. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Qualifications TB Skin Test + Physical Examination Food and Beverage Health Certificate Police and court clearance Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment is preferred. Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to interact positively with children and their families. Food preparation experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
