Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Connect POS and Micros POS efficiently for sales transactions and cash handling Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly Handle food preparation tasks including food safety protocols, food handling, and basic food assembly to ensure quality standards are met Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas Manage cash register operations with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Support team members during busy periods by managing serving duties and assisting with food service operations Experience Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for coffee culture is a plus Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction accuracy Understanding of food safety standards, proper food handling techniques, and food preparation procedures Experience in serving or retail environments that require multitasking and quick thinking Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable guest experiences!
