Job OverviewWe are seeking a motivated, dependable and detail-oriented Barn Facility Assistant to join our dynamic team.In this entry level vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of our equine facility and animal housing areas.Your energetic approach will help ensure that all equipment, structures, and animal care standards are upheld to promote a thriving environment for both animals and staff.This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with animals in a rewarding setting.Responsibilities Assist team members with daily operations of barn facilities, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and proper animal housing conditions.Assist with animal husbandry tasks including feeding, watering, grooming, and health monitoring of horses and livestock Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and other farm machinery safely and efficiently Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fencing.Handle heavy lifting tasks involving Hay bales, feed bags, and materials needed for barn upkeep Assist with the safe handling of animals during routine care.Qualifications No prior experience required; training will be provided Keen attention to detail and a commitment to safty Willingness to perform physical tasks.Ability to operate forklifts, heavy machinery, power tools, and hand tools safely Animal husbandry experience is a plus Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Basic math skills for measurements and record keeping Join us as a Barn Facility Assistant where your energy fuels our barn's success!
