The Garden Grill & Bar at Hilton Garden Inn North Conway Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Server or Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to customers, ensuring excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere in the bar area. Responsibilities Greet guests in a friendly manner and provide excellent service Learn and sell menu items accurately and effectively Mix and serve drinks following standard recipes Check customers' identification and confirm legal drinking age Maintain cleanliness in the bar area and adhere to food safety standards Upsell additional products when appropriate Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register Engage with customers in a friendly manner and provide recommendations on drinks Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely drink service Skills Proficiency in using Point-of-Sale systems Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and order processing Ability to upsell and promote menu items effectively Familiarity with restaurant operations and bar equipment Understanding of food safety practices and ability to sanitate work areas Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members efficiently Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 per hour Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid time off Paid training Ability to Commute: North Conway, NH 03860 (Required) Ability to Relocate: North Conway, NH 03860: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
