Job Description: Horse & Hyde is a fast-growing neighborhood bar in Uptown Phoenix known for live music 7 nights a week, craft cocktails, and a high-energy but tight-knit environment. We’re looking for a Bartender / Keyholder who can operate independently, lead shifts, and deliver a great guest experience without needing hand-holding. This is not a “just show up and bartend” role — this is for someone who can own a shift from open to close . Key Responsibilities: Open and/or close the bar independently (keyholder responsibility) Run solo or small-team shifts efficiently Provide fast, friendly, and consistent service in a live music environment Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar and in guest areas Handle cash, tabs, and POS accurately Restock, prep, and manage inventory levels during shifts Communicate with ownership/management on issues, needs, and opportunities What We’re Looking For: Bartending experience required (high-volume preferred) Comfortable working solo shifts Strong sense of urgency and awareness Reliable and punctual — no babysitting needed Ability to multitask without sacrificing guest experience Must be 21+ Bonus If You Have: Craft cocktail knowledge Experience with live music or entertainment venues Previous keyholder or leadership experience Familiarity with Toast POS Why Work Here: Strong tip potential in a busy, loyal neighborhood spot Consistent live music brings built-in traffic Small team = more shifts, more money, more ownership Opportunity to grow with an expanding bar group Schedule: Nights and weekends required Flexible scheduling available for the right candidate Pay: $15.15 - $75.00 per hour Benefits Employee discount Paid training Work Location: In person
