We are a brand-new restaurant opening right next door to our beloved local pizza shop in Broomall, PA, and we are building something special from the ground up. Our bar program is launching as a creative mocktail bar and BYOB concept , giving our guests a fun, elevated experience whether they drink alcohol or not. As we grow, we are actively pursuing our full liquor license, which means this role has real long-term potential — we want someone who wants to grow with us, not just fill a shift. We are a family-run, neighborhood business and we take pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment for our guests and our team. The Role: We are looking for a talented, creative, and personable Bartender to lead our bar program from day one. You will be the face of our bar — crafting beautiful, imaginative non-alcoholic mocktails, managing the bar setup, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Under our BYOB policy , you will also prepare and mix beverages using spirits that guests bring in, so cocktail knowledge and technique matter. When our liquor license is approved, you will step fully into a traditional bartending role with a complete spirits program. We are looking for someone who is excited about mocktails and creative beverages — this is a chance to build something from scratch. What You'll Do: Craft and serve a rotating menu of creative, flavorful mocktails using fresh ingredients, house-made syrups, specialty juices, and garnishes Mix and prepare alcoholic beverages for BYOB guests using their provided spirits — following proper cocktail techniques and recipes Greet every guest warmly and provide attentive, friendly bar service that keeps people coming back Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar area at all times Help develop and suggest new mocktail recipes and seasonal specials Handle cash and card transactions accurately using our POS system Comply with all Pennsylvania liquor laws and BYOB regulations — including not serving alcohol from the establishment's supply until the liquor license is obtained Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth, coordinated service Set up and break down the bar before and after each shift What We're Looking For: 1+ years of bartending or bar experience strongly preferred (we will consider an exceptional candidate with strong mixology knowledge and a great attitude) Genuine passion for craft beverages — mocktails, fresh ingredients, creative flavor profiles Strong cocktail technique and knowledge of classic and contemporary drinks RAMP certification or willingness to obtain it (Pennsylvania responsible alcohol service training) Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service instincts Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during dinner rushes and weekends Reliable, punctual, and a true team player Must be 21 years of age or older Food handler's certification is a plus Why Join Us: A ground-floor opportunity to shape our bar program from the very beginning A path to full bartending as our liquor license comes through A supportive, family-run team environment Flexible scheduling options (we are open to discussing full-time or part-time) The chance to be part of a new neighborhood restaurant that people are genuinely excited about To Apply: Please submit your resume to rizepizzaishiring@gmail.com and include a short note telling us: (1) your favorite mocktail or cocktail you've ever made and why, and (2) your availability.
