Bartender

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at Scratch Kitchen & Taproom in Cary. As a Bartender, you will play a key role in creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for our patrons. Your exceptional bartending skills, friendly demeanor, and commitment to customer service will contribute to the success of our establishment. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences Maintain a clean and organized bar area Check identification to verify legal drinking age Collect payment from customers and process transactions using a cash register Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for catering events Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints Experience: Previous experience working in the hospitality or food service industry is preferred Knowledge of basic math skills for handling cash transactions Familiarity with food handling and safety procedures Ability to operate a cash register and handle money accurately Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, brewing techniques, and cocktail recipes is a plus Join our team as a Bartender and be part of an exciting and dynamic work environment in the food industry.
