Job description About Us: Le Gabrielle of Monroe is an expansion of the original location in Winder, Georgia. Le Gabrielle is a French inspired restaurant specializing in both sweet and savory crepes. We also offer a variety of other menu options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner including waffles, specialty coffees, smoothies, paninis, steaks, salads, soups, and more. Our goal is to bring an upscale, but affordable and unique dining experience to the community of Winder. We are looking for talented and passionate individuals with backgrounds in food service, cooking, or customer service who are seeking to be a part of this new and exciting opportunity to grow alongside us. Job Description: We are seeking dependable and enthusiastic bartenders to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a passion for providing exceptional customer service and has prior experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position also entails regular bar server responsibilities such as maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, preparing beverages in a timely manner, preparing alcohol, being knowledgeable about various types of spirits, serving guests in the bar section and managing their own time well. Previous bartending experience is required. We are seeking individuals with night and weekend availability with the ability to "double" on occasion, as this is when our bar is the busiest. Note: Because this position does require to prepare and serve alcoholic beverages, applicants are required to be at least 18 years or older in order to qualify for the position. Compensation: The base starting pay rate for this position is $5/hour. Bartenders receive a variable tip out percentage from all other servers, based on their alcohol sales. Additionally, bartenders receive their own tips in addition to their hourly rate. On an average day, including tips, one can generally expect to yield upwards of $20-$30 per hour depending on experience . Pay is received weekly. Benefits: Bartenders are eligible for a 50% discount on non-alcoholic food and beverages that they order, whether working or not. However, this discount is offered to the employee only and not the employee's entire party.
