Now, we are on the lookout for vibrant and skilled bartenders to join our team and elevate the dining experience for our patrons at our Waterbury location. As a bartender at Stone’s Throw Waterbury, you will be at the forefront of providing an outstanding customer experience. From taking beverage and food orders at the bar to preparing our signature cocktails, your role is pivotal in shaping the unique pairings that tie our offerings together. We are seeking individuals with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the art of mixology. Responsibilities: Provide and nurture an exceptional customer experience to Stone’s Throw Waterbury patrons Field beverage and food orders from customers who are seated at the bar Learn and prepare our signature cocktails, as well as the classics Serve beer, cider, and wine, and provide basic knowledge to customers of the products we offer Prepare fresh juices, syrups, and garnishes before service Ensure bar is stocked and communicate with the General Manager or Beverage Manager when stock is low Maintain bar organization and cleanliness Comply with all Vermont food and beverage regulations Qualifications: 21+ years of age Successful completion of the VT On-Premises Responsible Serving of Alcohol course by the start date Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Computer literacy, experience with Toast POS system a plus Experience working in a food establishment is a plus Benefits of working at Stone’s Throw: Competitive compensation Paid sick time for all team members 401k retirement plan for eligible employees Opportunities for professional growth A supportive and passionate team And did we mention free pizza?
