Job Title: Basebuild (CSA) Superintendent Location: Manassas, VA Industry: Semiconductor Manufacturing / Advanced Technology Construction Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview The Basebuild (CSA) Superintendent is responsible for field execution and oversight of all Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) scopes on a semiconductor manufacturing facility (fab) construction project. This role ensures that basebuild work—including site development, concrete, structural steel, building envelope, and architectural systems—is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in strict compliance with quality standards and project specifications. This position plays a critical role in coordinating CSA work with tool install, MEP systems, and cleanroom construction in a highly technical, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead daily field operations for all CSA activities including earthwork, foundations, structural systems, exterior enclosure, and architectural finishes Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and vendors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project schedule milestones Collaborate closely with project management, engineering, and other superintendents (MEP, cleanroom, tool install) to manage interface points Enforce strict safety standards and promote a zero-incident culture in accordance with company and site-specific safety programs Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and semiconductor facility standards Drive schedule performance by identifying constraints, mitigating risks, and implementing recovery plans when needed Conduct daily site walks, inspections, and coordination meetings with subcontractors Review and manage look-ahead schedules (3-week / 6-week planning)
