This position will assist Plant Manager in managing and coordinating plant activities in order to effectively satisfy customer needs by efficiently utilizing delivery labor and equipment and ensuring that concrete is batched to company standards. Key Responsibilities To batch concrete within company standards To assist the manager in taking orders and dispatching as needed Assist the Plant Manager in the completion of all reporting requirements within the prescribed timeframes. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or GED. Previous experience in ready-mix delivery helpful, but not required Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
