Job Overview:The City of Medina is looking to hire Beachfront Lifeguards to keep swimmers safe at the beautiful Medina Beach Park, just west of Bellevue on Lake Washington.The season goes from June 29, 2026 to August 30, 2026.Apply online at https://www.medina-wa.gov.Minimum Qualifications:Must be 15years of age.Must possess and maintain a valid certification in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and CPR First Aid for the professional rescuer and Waterfront LG Certification.Ability to swim and perform lifesaving skills on adults and youth.Must pass criminal background check.Essential Functions:Must enjoy working with people.Work as a team with fellow lifeguards, city staff and management.Provide a safe environment for the public.Enforce beach front rules and regulations.Have good communication skills.Supervise swimmers.Rescue persons in distress.Maintain accurate records.Conduct basic beach front maintenance duties.Administer assistance and first-aid to accident and injury victims.Joining our team as a Beach Lifeguard offers the opportunity to contribute to a safe and enjoyable beach environment while gaining experience in waterfront safety.Qualification:Must have lifeguard training/certification Job Types:Part-time, Seasonal Pay:$21.00 - $27.00 per hour Benefits:Flexible schedule Schedule:Holidays Monday to Friday Rotating weekends License/Certification:ARC Lifeguard Certification or are enrolled to take course (Preferred) Ability to Commute:Medina, WA 98039 (Required) Work Location:In person.
