Compensation: $100,000+ yearly DOE Responsibilities: Lead family law cases from start to finish, ensuring each client receives personalized and empathetic legal support. Advocate passionately for clients in court, presenting clear and compelling arguments to achieve favorable outcomes. Draft and review legal documents with precision, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current laws and regulations. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative legal strategies that align with our firm's commitment to excellence. Provide clients with clear, actionable legal advice, empowering them to make informed decisions during challenging times. Maintain open and consistent communication with clients, keeping them informed and involved throughout their case. Participate in community outreach and networking events to enhance the firm's presence and build strong client relationships in Beaufort County. Qualifications: At least 4 years of family law experience, and an SC Law License; an additional license in Georgia or North Carolina would be a plus Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations A 4-year degree with a legal background and a J.D. degree are necessary for this position Experience with billing and keeping track of billable time on cases Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations Team-oriented, flexible, organized, and willing to work across office locations when needed is a plus Self-starter who will take the proactive initiative to complete priorities on a daily basis Ability to creatively problem-solve and come up with workable solutions, figure things out on your own Must be willing to travel locally around Hilton Head and Beaufort, as well as the surrounding area, for mediations, depositions, and court How Do I Apply?
