Spray‑On Bed Liner Technician / Shop Laborer Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Spray‑On Bed Liner Technician / Shop Laborer to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing vehicles and applying spray‑on bed liners to trucks and other vehicles, as well as assisting with general shop duties. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, safety‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Spray‑On Bed Liner Application Properly prepare truck beds and other surfaces for spray‑on liner application (masking, sanding, grinding, and cleaning) Mix and apply spray‑on bed liner materials according to manufacturer specifications and shop standards Operate spray equipment, compressors, and related tools safely and effectively Inspect finished work to ensure proper coverage, texture, and quality Maintain a clean and organized spray booth and work area Shop Labor & Support Duties Assist with general shop tasks such as cleaning, organizing tools, and maintaining equipment Load, unload, and move materials, parts, and vehicles as needed Support senior technicians with prep work and installation tasks Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Perform basic vehicle or shop maintenance tasks as assigned Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED preferred Experience with spray‑on bed liners, automotive painting, or coatings is a plus (training will be provided for the right candidate) Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs or more regularly Comfortable working in a shop environment with noise, fumes, and protective equipment Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity Work Environment Automotive or fabrication shop environment Exposure to coatings, and equipment associated with spray application Full‑time position; hours may vary based on workload Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Training and advancement opportunities To schedule an interview please call 919-798-9388 Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour Benefits Employee discount On-the-job training Paid training Work Location: In person
