Job Description
Behavior Specialist Full Time (Mon–Fri, 8am–4pm), 40 Hours Location: CCARC, Inc., New Britain, CT CCARC is seeking a dedicated Behavior Specialist to provide behavioral support to ADULTS with developmental disabilities. This role focuses on creating and monitoring positive behavior support plans, training staff, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure individuals receive the highest quality care. Qualifications Master’s degree in psychology, special education, or a related field (required). Experience with developmental disabilities and behavior analysis (preferred). Strong communication, documentation, and training skills. Valid CT driver’s license and reliable transportation. Key Responsibilities Conduct observations and assessments and develop behavior support plans. Provide quarterly reports and participate in IP meetings. Train staff in proactive behavioral approaches. Maintain documentation and assist with PRC/HRC processes.
