Behavior Support Paraeducator (STEP)

Putney Central School is hiring a full time paraeducator to join our special education team as a behavior support paraeducator. This position offers the opportunity to be a part of a highly collaborative team of teachers and a larger PreK-8 school rooted in whole-child education valuing academic excellence, play in early childhood and a commitment to the arts and various forms of expression.Job Description: Provide daily in-class support in accordance with a students individualized program or behavior support planCoordinate with other classroom staff, school counselor, student success coordinatorParticipate in weekly team meetings across grade levelsWork with students of all ages, from K-8 in a variety of settingsSupervise lunch and recess timesAttend field trips as neededAbout Putney Central School: Putney Central School is a public PK-8 school serving approximately 180 students.
