Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans based on principles of behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect, record, and analyze data related to client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Assist with patient assessment procedures, including intake evaluations and diagnostic assessments, to determine appropriate interventions Support patients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and engaging environment that promotes learning and positive behaviors Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards Collaborate with supervisors, clinicians, and families to ensure consistency in intervention strategies and progress tracking Participate in ongoing training related to special education, behavioral health, medical terminology, and best practices for working with individuals with disabilities Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Ability to collect detailed data accurately during therapy sessions and maintain comprehensive medical records Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health assessments and documentation Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy compliance Excellent patience, empathy, and communication skills to support diverse client needs effectively Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to patient care and progress Embark on a rewarding career where your compassion meets your expertise!
