Location: Petersburg Schedule: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description Reliant Solutions Inc., a behavioral health agency serving the Petersburg, Virginia community, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Behavioral Health Medical Records Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in behavioral health settings and a strong understanding of medical records management, confidentiality standards, and documentation compliance. This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate client records and supporting quality behavioral health services. Responsibilities Maintain and organize behavioral health medical records in accordance with agency policies and HIPAA regulations Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance File, scan, upload, and manage electronic and physical records Coordinate with clinical staff regarding missing or incomplete documentation Process records requests and maintain confidentiality at all times Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance reviews Ensure timely record updates and secure storage procedures Support administrative and clinical operations as needed Qualifications Required: Previous experience in behavioral health or mental health services Experience with medical records management or health information systems preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality requirements Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare administration training is a plus Benefits Competitive pay Supportive team environment Professional growth opportunities Stable Monday–Friday schedule How to Apply Please submit your resume and relevant experience for consideration.
