Pay Range: $23.50 - $29.84 per hour Are you looking for a career that makes a difference? JAMHI Health & Wellness, Inc. is looking for a Full Time Behavioral Health Technician to our team! Behavioral Health Technician's are vital members of the Community Housing team and provided necessary oversight in our residential properties. The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for providing support services to severely mentally ill community housing residents and supervising their activities. Daily work consists of monitoring residents in our supportive living homes, encouraging residents to maintain a clean environment, and daily meal prep. You may be asked to accompany residents on group outings or participate in group activities, so a valid drivers license and personal insurance are required. This is a great position to start a career in human services or behavioral health! This full -time position follows a 12-hour shift schedule, with shifts running from 7:30 - 7:30. Both day and night shifts are available, and the role is overtime-eligible. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma/GED; postsecondary education. AND One year of experience in an environment that requires interaction with a broad cross section of people. Preferred Qualifications: Experience providing direct service in the field of human services. Candidates holding a BH Certificate and/or CNA license are eligible for increased compensation. All JAMHI positions require the ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with the current state regulation requirements and a valid Alaska driver’s license and be able to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier if driving.
