Gold Rush Jewelers has an opening for a jeweler in one of our stores.Below is what we are looking for in a jeweler:Must have 3-5 years of Bench Jeweler experience with a focus on repair work, please do not apply if you do not have any prior work experience doing jewelry work.Courteous and professional individual with excellent communication skills If applying for Watch maker, must be able to work on quartz watches Ability to multi-task with extraordinary attention to detail Energetic and confident with the ability to hustle under time constraints Passion for achieving growth and success Ability to work under pressure and willing to hear constructive feedback Punctual and excellent time management skills Demonstrated professional maturity (discretion, flexibility, and self-starter who can work within a team or solo) Resourceful and adept at problem solving Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Jewelry Repair - sizing rings - chain repairs - earring and pendant repair - some jewelry restoration Finishing of castings Casting silver, gold and platinum Replacing watch batteries Sizing watch band links Light fabrication duties Possible light stone setting, dependent on skills General shop cleaning and maintenance Job Types:Full-time, Part-time Pay:$25.00 - $45.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid time off Retirement plan Work Location:In person.
