A privately held, highly profitable company is seeking a Benefits Supervisor to lead daily operations and manage a team of 3–4 Benefits professionals. Reporting to the Senior Benefits Manager, this role oversees enterprise benefits administration, compliance, vendor relationships, and open enrollment for a large multi-state workforce. This is a highly visible role partnering with HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal, and leadership to deliver competitive and compliant benefits programs within a stable and respected organization. Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of 3–4 Benefits Partners and Coordinators Oversee benefits admin - enrollments, life events, COBRA, LOA, and HRIS transactions Manage open enrollment planning, configuration, communications, and reporting Partner with brokers, consultants, vendors to ensure service quality and plan performance Ensure compliance with ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA oversee regulatory filings including Form 5500 Manage benefits audits, nondiscrimination testing, and government reporting Oversee vendor contracts, service reviews, and invoice/budget management Support implementation of benefits programs, system integrations, improvements Monitor team service levels and ensure internal support metrics are met Develop and deliver benefits communications and employee education Partner cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, Legal, Marketing, and Finance Qualifications: BS/BA degree required; CEBS, PHR, or SPHR a plus 7+ years of benefits experience including group benefits (health/wellness, LOA, 401k) 5+ years of direct people leadership experience, heavy with people development Experience in supervisory role leading benefits for 5k+ employees / multi-state enviro Required: Supervisory experience with Self-insured / self-funded health plans Experience managing brokers, vendors, renewals, audits, and compliance filings Strong knowledge of federal and state benefits regulations Experience with HRIS systems (Oracle preferred) and strong Excel proficiency Ability to communicate complex benefits programs clearly to employees and leadership Benefits & Compensation: Flexible Base Salary: $130–188k base (depends on experience) + 10% bonus potential (paid quarterly) Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance. 401(k) with profit sharing.
