Day (United States of America) Bereavement Coordinator - Hospice This individual coordinates and supervises psychosocial/bereavement staff including staffing, clinical direction, support, and statistical reporting all of which assures compliance with state, federal regulations and conditions of participation for all hospice programs.Will be responsible for hiring of bereavement staff as well as assisting with hiring of team social workers.Provides oversight and direct involvement to all bereavement programs.Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling Social work or counseling background with knowledge of individual, group, and family counseling, family dynamics of terminally ill patients, support groups and community resources.Excellent communication skills and an ability to cope with high levels of stress.Excellent computer skills including electronic medical records, Excel, and Microsoft Word program.Valid driver's license with good driving record..
