THE JOB: As a Lounge Server at MGM Grand, you will create memorable guest experiences by delivering exceptional beverage service in a fast paced, high energy lounge environment. With a welcoming personality and attention to detail, you will engage with guests, anticipate their needs, and help create an exciting atmosphere that reflects the energy and entertainment of MGM Grand. THE STARTING RATE: $14.5457/Hour THE DAY-TO-DAY: Complete opening side duties fold/stack cocktail napkins, stock swizzle sticks, straws, matches, line cocktail trays, stock glassware, restock supply cabinet, inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; Knowledge of liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available on the casino floor. Communicate order into system through Bartender; Knowledge of Hotel services and features as well as local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries. Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft. Successful completion of Restaurant Training Program and testing is required. Is 21+ years of age High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
