BFA Fairfax HS Teaching and Learning Coach

BFA Fairfax High School is seeking a dynamic educator to join our school community as the Teaching and Learning Coach. This teacher position supports teachers in improving their skills and student outcomes by providing guidance, modeling effective practices, and fostering a collaborative learning environment through professional development and ongoing support. The Teaching and Learning Coach will develop and deliver whole-school professional learning to teachers as well as individualized, one-on-one support. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of best practices in curriculum, instruction, and assessment. The candidate should be comfortable utilizing data management systems and supporting testing structures such as VTCAP and math/literacy screeners. The candidate will oversee an advisory group and support the staff with personalized learning plans. This position may include 504 case management.
