Bicycle Mechanic/Sales

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Bike Mechanic/Saleperson to join our team. Candidate must have previous bicycle mechanic experience in a bike shop. We are a Retail & Rental business with 6 rental shops through out Southern California, and we also operate the largest privately owned Retail bike shop in San Diego, we are converting our venice store into more of the retail side and need to fill our team with great candidates. Pay will range from $25-$28 depending on experience, You will also need to be able to handle the register/sales, this means interacting with customers, helping them with their service, retail or rental needs. As the shop grows , we would convert you over to mechanic only duties in the back shop area. Duties Perform routine maintenance on bicycles and e-bikes. Diagnose and repair bicycle mechanical issues on various types of bicycles Assemble and disassemble bicycle components as needed Maintain a clean and organized work environment Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and inquiries Requirements Show up on time & with a great attitude. Proven experience as a Bike Mechanic or Bike Service Technician Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot bicycles issues Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to bicycles maintenance Familiarity with retail math for pricing services and parts accurately Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to customers. Tips vary on customer service and sales.
