Job Description
A well-established, growing packaging and distribution company is seeking a Customer Service Manager to lead a cross-functional team supporting customer operations, logistics coordination, and inbound activities. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing teams, improving processes, and ensuring a high level of service across a fast-paced operation. This position will oversee multiple functional areas and play a key role in driving team performance, communication, and overall customer experience. Salary + Additional Benefits: $80,000–$100,000 Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance PTO + Paid Holidays Location: Baytown, Texas Type of Position: Direct Hire Responsibilities: Manage and lead a team of 12 direct reports across customer service, warehouse coordination, and inbound operations. Provide oversight to additional indirect reports within dispatch functions. Coach, train, and develop team members to improve performance and service delivery. Ensure timely and accurate communication with customers regarding orders, shipments, and inquiries. Partner with internal teams to coordinate logistics, inventory, and operational workflows. Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Monitor team performance metrics and implement improvements where needed. Support a collaborative, team-oriented culture across departments. Requirements: Spanish Bilingual required 5+ years of experience in customer service, logistics, transportation, or 3PL environments Prior leadership or supervisory experience required Strong ability to train, develop, and motivate a team Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Stable work history with demonstrated growth and progression Due to the high volume of applications we typically receive, we regret that we are not able to personally respond to all applications.
