Join a growing team that's as obsessed with research as we are with the details.Lodging Econometrics (LE), the global leader of hotel real estate intelligence, is seeking an entry-level candidate for our downtown Portsmouth, NH office.As a bilingual Hotel Research Specialist, you will use LE's methods and resources to collect the most up-to-date information from hotel industry organizations.You will ultimately be responsible for ensuring our clients have access to the most accurate, current, and extensive industry data.Your communication skills will be top-notch.Responsibilities:Make persuasive outbound phone calls to collect intelligence about open and under-development hotels in Latin America and Europe Build relationships with hotel owners and development team members to review hotel portfolios every 90 days Record accurate information and integrate industry news into LE's databases Cross-check database content against multiple information resources Perform data audits and develop methodologies to collect new intelligence and enhance the information on each hotel location REQUIREMENTS:Associate's Degree or higher in Business or a related field Fluent in Spanish and English Engaging, professional personality with the desire and ability to build relationships over the phone Work effectively in a collaborative team environment Strong attention to detail for sourcing, entering, and auditing data Desire and enthusiasm to learn about the hospitality industry and become an expert in your work Prior work experience making outbound phone calls in customer service or telemarketing positions is helpful Located within 60 miles of our Portsmouth, NH office TECHNICAL:Intermediate database skills Familiarity with the Microsoft Suite Spanish language skills are required, German Portguese and French are helpful Benefits: Medical Insurance Dental & Vision Insurance STD, LTD & Life Insurance 401(k) Plan 11 Paid Holidays Paid Time Off (PTO) Professional development assistance Referral Program If you meet the requirements above, are passionate about your work, and are ready to join a great team, please email a cover letter and resume to jobs@lodgingeconometrics.com Work Remotely Yes Job Type:Full-time Pay:$21.00 - $23.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Language:Spanish (Required) English (Required) Ability to Commute:Portsmouth, NH 03801 (Required) Work Location:Hybrid remote in Portsmouth, NH 03801.
