LANDSCAPE CREW LEADER Job Type: Full-time Compensation: based on experience COMPANY OVERVIEW Habitat Gardens works with renowned landscape architects in the country and has developed a reputation as a world class landscape installer. We pride ourselves in our ability to create custom landscapes using drought tolerant native species to fit microclimate and aesthetic goals. We design and build green roofs and living spaces to attract birds and beneficial insects for optimum ecological balance in outdoor spaces. JOB DESCRIPTION Habitat Gardens is seeking a full-time Landscape Crew Leader to service high-end landscapes throughout the Monterey Peninsula. This is a leadership and performance-based position. You will work under the supervision of the Landscape Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance accounts. This is an excellent opportunity to grow with top horticulturists, and work side by side the best designers and builders in the industry. Only serious, career-minded applicants will be considered EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUESTED Team Management (2-3 years) Supervision, delegation, training coaching, performance management, enforce safety. Residential Landscape Management (3-4 years) Planning/organizing, resource management, quality control, equipment management, communication Client interaction, communication with supervisor, team communication, reporting Technical skills and knowledge (3-5 years) Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Landscape knowledge, equipment operation/maintenance, pest & disease control, irrigation troubleshooting and repair.
