About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Medical Paralegal to serve as the vital link between our legal team, healthcare providers, and our diverse client base. This role is perfect for a professional with a strong medical background or significant experience in medical-related legal support. You will be responsible for translating complex medical histories into clear, actionable legal documentation. Key Responsibilities Records Management: Proactively request, review, and organize medical records and billing statements to ensure case files are complete. Medical Chronologies: Draft detailed treatment summaries and chronologies that highlight the trajectory of a client's recovery. Analytical Review: Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or "red flags" in medical treatment that could impact the outcome of a case. Demand Packages: Assist attorneys in preparing demand letters and discovery responses by synthesizing medical evidence. Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for healthcare providers, insurance companies, and clients in their native language. Trial Support: Assist attorneys with trial preparation specifically involving medical documentation and expert witness coordination. Required Skills & Qualifications Bilingual Fluency: Professional-level fluency in English and [Spanish] OR English, Russian, and Georgian (written and verbal). Medical Literacy: Strong ability to read, interpret, and summarize medical terminology and records. Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills for communicating with injured clients and busy medical offices. Organization: Mastery of file management and the ability to track multiple moving parts across a high volume of cases. Preferred Experience Background as a Medical Assistant, Nurse, or previous experience in a Med-Legal paralegal role. Experience in Personal Injury or Workers' Compensation litigation. Why Join Us?
