GLO Resources is currently hiring a Pipe Layer/ Skilled Laborer to work in, Jacksonville, FL 32202.You will be working for a commercial construction company.Pay will be between $22 - 24/hr.DOE.Typical workdays are Monday - Friday 7am -3:30pm with weekend and overtime available at times.Primary Responsibilities Install sanitary and storm water sewer structures and pipe systems.Cut pipes to required length.Assist in aligning pipes during Installation.Align and position pipes to prepare them for Sealing or joining.Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers.Connect pipe pieces and seal joints bye either bolting, cement, or glue.Tap and drill holes into pipes to introduce auxiliary lines or devices.Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools Train others in pipe-laying techniques Install trench boxes and shoring materials.Other general labor and construction duties as required.Essential Skills and Experience:1-2 years' experience in construction 1 year experience with pipe laying techniques w/ PVC and Ductile Able to operate both simple hand and power tools and pipe lasers Qualifications:Preferably speaks Spanish, can climb walls, in good physical condition.Must be able to pass a drug screen.Must be able to pass a background check Work conditions and physical capabilities Bending, crouching, kneeling Combination of sitting, standing, walking Handling heavy loads Large workload Physically demanding Tight deadlines Benefits:Health, Dental, Vision Job Type:Full-time Pay:$22.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Experience:Construction:1 year (Required) Pipe Laying:1 year (Required) Language:English and Spanish (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
