Security Public Storage Company Overview Security Public Storage (SPS) is a family-owned and operated self-storage company with 53 self-storage facilities located in California, Oregon, Nevada, Maryland & Virginia.Job Summary Seeking a highly ambitious, career-oriented professional to work assisting in the operating and selling of units at our busy self-storage facility in Salinas, CA.Benefits and Perks $18.50 per hour plus commission! $10-$20 for every storage unit rented on days you work alone, which we estimate to equate to an additional $1 -$2 per hour - bringing the combined potential equivalent compensation to between $19 and $20 per hour.Opportunity for advancement Responsibilities and Duties Oversight of all day-to-day operations Provides outstanding customer service including assessing and resolving customer queries and problems and professionally Effectively sells storage units to telephone, walk-in and email inquiries by employing the methods within our Call Flow Guidelines Completes leases and other documentation in a neat and orderly manner Reduces delinquent accounts through telephone, text and email contact Maintains exemplary curb appeal in both our office and throughout that facility, including sweeping units, cleaning hallways and disposing of debris Qualifications and Skills Customer service, retail sales, marketing, general office and telephone skills Good organizational skills General office functions and experiences required Ability to pay close attention to detail Must be bilingual We value diversity at Security Public Storage.We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $18.50 per hour Language:Spanish (Required) English (Required) Work Location:In person.
