Bilingual Sanitation Technician Team Lead – $24–$27/hr (Based on Experience) Indianapolis, IN | Full-time | 3:30 PM – Midnight (Overtime as Needed) Department: Operations Reports to: Sanitation Supervisor FLSA Status: Hourly About the Role We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Sanitation Technician Team Lead to join our team! In this role, you’ll oversee and coordinate our sanitation crew to ensure that all production areas and equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to company policies and regulatory food safety standards. You’ll lead by example, provide training and direction to your team, and play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant food production environment. What You’ll Do Lead and coordinate the nightly sanitation crew according to the Master Sanitation Schedule Train, coach, and support sanitation team members to uphold food safety and quality standards Oversee cleaning, disassembly, sanitation, and reassembly of food processing equipment Verify completion of sanitation tasks to meet SSOP, GMP, and company standards Perform pre-operational inspections and maintain accurate sanitation documentation Ensure safe use of PPE and sanitation chemicals; maintain awareness of relevant SDS information Report equipment or facility issues promptly to maintenance and management Support continuous improvement efforts in sanitation and overall food safety performance Assist with cross-training, compliance tasks, and corrective actions as needed What You Bring Previous sanitation experience in a manufacturing or food production environment required Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience (food industry preferred) Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in both English and Spanish (bilingual required) Experience working with sanitation chemicals and industrial cleaning equipment Knowledge of GMPs, SSOPs, and food safety procedures Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends Ability to work in wet or humid environments and lift up to 50 lbs Experience with forklifts or scissor lifts a plus Schedule & Pay Shift: 3:30 PM – Midnight Pay: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour (based on experience) Overtime: Available and may be required based on production needs Why Join Us Competitive hourly pay with overtime opportunities Career growth and leadership development opportunities Work in a clean, safety-focused environment Be part of a company that values teamwork, respect, and quality in everything we do Equal Employment Opportunity We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer .
