Job Description & Requirements Specialty Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Discipline: Therapy Duration 40 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Bilingual (Spanish/English) Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Full-Time | School-Based | Eagle Point, OR About the Role We are seeking a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a collaborative school-based team in Eagle Point, Oregon . In this role, you’ll support students in developing essential skills for success in the classroom and daily activities. Working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality care to a diverse student population. What You’ll Do Provide occupational therapy services to students under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist Implement individualized treatment plans to support student development and independence Deliver both direct and indirect therapy services in a school setting Assist with assessments and utilize standardized data to track student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with professional standards Collaborate closely with therapists, educators, and school staff to support student outcomes Position Details Full-time, 40 hours per week School-based setting in Eagle Point, OR 40-week contract aligned with the academic calendar Blend of direct student services and indirect support Compensation $36 per hour + weekly pay Key Requirement Fluency in both Spanish and English is required to effectively support and communicate with students and families What We’re Looking For Current certification or licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program At least one year of experience preferred Pediatric or school-based experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to providing inclusive, student-centered care Additional Requirements Current CPR certification (if applicable) TB screening and health clearance as required Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations Must be at least 18 years of age Why This Role Matters This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a school community while supporting students’ growth, independence, and success—especially within bilingual and multicultural environments.
