Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual (English/Spanish) Superintendent/Foreman specialized in concrete construction to lead and oversee large-scale projects from start to finish. This role is vital in ensuring that construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in concrete and heavy civil projects, and a thorough understanding of construction management software and industry best practices. As a key team member, you will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety regulations. Responsibilities Lead daily operations on construction sites, supervising crews and subcontractors to ensure work progresses according to plans and schedules. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities accurately. Manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to meet deadlines efficiently. Oversee quality control processes, ensuring all work meets specified standards and adheres to safety protocols such as OSHA regulations. Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment, including heavy machinery like boom lifts or cranes, ensuring timely delivery. Monitor project budgets, track costs, and prepare reports to keep stakeholders informed of progress and financial status. Conduct regular site inspections using tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing and ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with project managers on contracts, change orders, and project documentation to maintain clear communication channels. Supervise the use of construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and communication. Ensure all team members are trained on safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as a superintendent or foreman in concrete construction or heavy civil projects with a strong background in pipeline work preferred. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required for effective communication across diverse teams. Extensive knowledge of construction management practices including project scheduling (Primavera P6), budgeting, blueprint reading, and estimating. Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or similar tools. Strong supervisory skills with demonstrated success in managing construction crews and subcontractors effectively. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and experience implementing safety protocols on-site. Ability to read schematics accurately and utilize measurement tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing when needed. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in quality control processes and project documentation.
