Our commitment is unwavering, and our XpresTest team plays a pivotal role by partnering with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Our collaborative efforts extend beyond COVID-19 variant detection, encompassing the comprehensive detection and sequencing of 30 different pathogens that could potentially be introduced into the U.S. by international travelers. In the capacity of a Bio-Surveillance Specialist, your role will involve engaging with international travelers, urging them to voluntarily provide swabs. This voluntary contribution significantly aids the CDC in tracking variants and understanding the presence of various pathogens. Responsibilities: Collecting Samples: Greet passengers with a warm and welcoming demeanor, creating a positive first impression. Maintain a professional and ethical approach in all interactions with the traveling public. Collect samples of flight wastewater to identify and analyze pathogens Team Collaboration Collaborate with management and other staff to create a cohesive and positive work environment. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and stay informed about CDC updates. Compliance: Adhere to all regulations and polices related to station operations. Maintain confidentiality regarding participants' information. Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation standards, including proper cleaning and sanitization.
