Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Board Member at RL Bethany Haitian Relief Services INC. The role involves participating in strategic decision-making, providing governance and stewardship, and ensuring the organization adheres to its mission and vision. Board Members will also review organizational policies, assist in fundraising and community engagement, and collaborate closely with other members of the leadership team to drive impactful initiatives. Additionally, Board Members will serve as ambassadors for the organization, fostering relationships with stakeholders and expanding networks. Qualifications Experience in strategic planning, nonprofit governance, or organizational leadership Skills in financial oversight, fundraising, and resource development Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills Ability to analyze challenges, propose solutions, and make sound decisions Passion for humanitarian efforts with a commitment to the mission of supporting vulnerable communities Experience with community outreach, public relations, or donor relations is a plus Familiarity with nonprofit operations and accountability standards is beneficial A professional background in nonprofit management, law, finance, or a related field is advantageous
