Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately. Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety and handling standards. Manage cash handling duties with accuracy, including cash register operations and balancing tills at shift end. Assist with food preparation tasks, including basic food handling and serving food items as needed. Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness. Skills Proven experience as a barista or in the food service industry with strong coffee knowledge. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless transactions. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell beverages and promote menu items confidently. Exceptional customer service skills that create welcoming environments for all guests. Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced café setting while maintaining attention to detail.
